Spring Clean 2008 was a great success and made considerable inroads into the litter and rubbish lying and blowing around Oxford and heightened public awareness of the problem – for full details go to Spring Clean 2008.
However, there is still a great deal of a litter and rubbish accumulating everyday which is blighting our beautiful city. We are now planning Spring Clean 2009 which we hope will again make a great impact on the appearance of the city.
In November, we will be contacting community groups, schools and businesses with full details about the event and inviting them to take part in a two hour litter pick at a location of their choice on either Friday 6 th March or Saturday 7 th March.
